Many have come to realize that the Earth is a fragile juwel whose resources are limited and which needs utmost care and preservation to last for future generations. Others have understood that there is a new dimension to be explored beyond the Earth and that our destiny may sometime lead us to settle on different "worlds". Others have begun to embrace the opportunities opened up by using space for better managing our daily lifes on Earth. All together space has altered the way we think of ourselves and of our destiny and has thus created a new mental perception for mankind".
